You are entitled to be heard and to tell your story.
Your input helps the police and courts make decisions about the offender. They will take your experience into account.
As a victim, you can have your say and participate in a few different ways including:
- a Victim Impact Statement
- submissions to the Parole Board.
Make sure you tell the police and the prosecutor if you have concerns about your safety.
