Abstract Format

Deadline Extended to Friday November 15th 2002
You are invited to submit an abstract for a paper, workshop or poster presentation which will address the conference aims and themes. The time allocated for paper presentations within concurrent sessions is 20 minutes, with additional time for questions from the floor at the end of the sessions. Other presentation formats will be considered.
Posters should not exceed 1.6m x1.6m in size.
 

Checklist for Abstracts

In a covering letter please indicate:
• whether abstract is for paper, workshop or poster presentation;
• the theme(s) your paper /poster or workshop is addressing;
• your audio visual requirements;
• the title of the presentation, name of author(s) and (if different) presenters
• names of presenters and their involvement in the area of work or topic for the presentation.
 
The abstract should be around 500 words in length.
 
The full name of the contact person, address and telephone, fax and email addresses should be included.
 

Abstract content

• The topic of the paper (eg project, program, research);
• Objective and purpose of the project/program/research;
• Brief outline of the paper. 
 
Acceptance or otherwise for presentation as a paper, poster or workshop will be at the discretion of the conference committee.
 
The conference committee regrets that presenters cannot be offered free registration at the conference. Those presenters who are attending the conference will be offered “early bird” registrations rates.
 
The conference committee seeks first right of publishing papers presented at the conference. Other arrangements, if required, will need to be negotiated on a case by case basis.
